'Lady Lamington' open for business

The cafe / restaurant / bar, Lady Lamington which is leasing the Fusions property on Brunswick Street opened for business on Monday 16 January. The Board has the members' approval to sell the property but has been waiting for the business to be up and running before proceeding. Board member June Cummings from the Gold Coast tried out the lunch menu on Saturday and has reported favourably.
June was 'impressed by the small menu - three dishes only with glass of red or white house wine included - simple and delicious... Young staff polite and on the ball....the layout was great - it maximised seating, good flow for serving drinks and food, long bar seating arrangement and large communal tables at back. Rooftop deck open from 5pm for cocktails..decor best described as 'faintly French theatrical'.
